My husband has recently become a resident of Verdeza and we couldn’t be more please with our choice. The nursing staff is professional, proficient, knowledgeable, and kind. I am a registered nurse myself and have supervised many nursing staff both professional and auxiliary and with experience eye I observed the fine quality of this staff. My family and I had the pleasure of enjoying a family luncheon and it was devine in both taste and presentation. The meal was amazing! The facility itself is warm and comfortable, tastefully appointed. All those things are important to me, but the most important is the fact that I can sleep at night knowing that my husband is well cared for and in extremely capable hands.
After my hip replacement surgery I spent a month at Verdeza. Everything runs so smoothly and efficiently. The waiters, nurses, cleaners are excellent. I highly recommend staying here after surgery to have the best care.

I stayed at Verdeza after my survey, initially I booked to stay for 2 weeks and ended up extending for another week, so total of 3 weeks. After the first few days there I was SOO grateful that I had chosen to stay at Verdeza. Everyone is so incredibly kind, caring and helpful! Never once did I feel like I was be ridiculous with some of the things I needed assistance with.When I say everyone I mean it: the cooks, the guys who bring my meals, the cleaners, my nurses!! The nurse assistants, the drivers, receptionists EVERYONE is so amazing! I was sad to leave when the time came.My room was so nice, modern and comfortable and the food was waaayy better than hospital food. Actually good meals that I got to choose daily! Love love loveHighly recommend
I stayed in Verdeza for 7 days after surgery. One of the best decisions of my life! I needed someone to help me clean the wound and give me the medicine at the appropriate times, the nurses where extraordinary (Specially Lourdes, well Susan as well and Adriana!) the assistants of the nurses where so kind and friendly, even the cleaning lady Daniela was super nice and very respectful. On top of all the care you have this great food. For every meal a waiter comes and takes your order, then they deliver it to your room desert included! ;)I felt as if I was in a five star hotel surrounded by people that really cared about my wellbeing. I absolutely recommend you do you post surgery in Verdeza.
I stayed here post surgery. It was good. The nurses will check on you every few hours. It's great for aftercare. They will bring food to your room. WiFi is good. There are just a few things you should know. The laundry is free but takes 2-3 days to be returned. For someone like me who only has 2-3 days of clothing, this poses an issue. They will accommodate dietary needs. I asked for ensure because I wasn't eating enough. They provided it no problem. You just have to remind them. Another thing is that you have to pay in full a month ahead. No refunds but they do have exchanges. So no backsies. I was quoted about $150 a night. They do provide other services and shuttles.
Best place I recommend to everyone! All the staff is wonderful! Everyone went above and beyond for me. They make sure you are taken care of 100 percent! The nicest most caring people so glad I came here. Thank you Verdeza!
I arrived at verdeza on November 28th for breast explant surgery. I return home on December 13th. I can't thank the entire staff enough for the quality of care and genuine concern I received from each and every person here. From the nurses, management, dinning room staff, housekeeping and building maintenance. Everything here was top notch. My studio was lovely, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The food was delicious and healthy.The location is a short 7 minute walk to Cima hospital, 5 minutes to most doctors offices, shopping, Starbucks and many excellent restaurants.I highly recommend Verdeza to anyone seeking the very best care possible when having any surgery in San Jose Costa Rica.
